ENGLISH- WRITING UNIT 1

This is the writing you have to do for unit 1. 

Remember that a question in the exam will be this writing. 

Write an e-mail to a friend . In your e-mail: 

1. Say how you have started the academic year. 
2. Say a hobby that you like, and how long you have practised it. 
3. Ask your friend about his/her hobbies.

Dear Catalina,

I hope you and you family are well.

I started fifth grade of Primary Education in September, and for the moment, it hasn’t been very difficult. I have studied a lot of English and Science.

How are you doing at Secondary School? Have you had any exams?

Last week, I bought two fantastic boardgames!  I love playing boardgames!

I have enjoyed boardgames since I was a child.

In fact, I have been a member of a games club for five years, but I have never participated in a competition.

What about you? Have you ever played boardgames? Have you ever joined  a club?

I hope you write me back soon.

Last week, I had an incredible dream.

In my dream, I won the lottery and I became a rich person. I won a lot of money, so I went to a shop to buy a lot of boardgames.

When I woke up, I felt very sad because it wasn’t real.   :(
